Check out the Graduate Student Researchers Program. This program awards fellowships for graduate study leading to research-based masters or doctoral degrees in the fields of science, mathematics, and engineering.

The Johnson Space Center (JSC) website has lots of information about manned space missions. Their search engine is a good place to start.
